Capital Mutual Insurance Brokers, is a General Insurance Broking firm that was established in 1990 in the inner Eastern suburbs of Melbourne.
Our company was established with a view to providing genuine old fashioned service based on, independent, sincere and practical advice to a rapidly growing and loyal customer base, ranging from mums and dads to large corporate clients.
Today, we are a respected general insurance broking organisation licensed by the Australian Securities and Investment Commission under licence number 245378 to provide general insurance advice in Australia. We are a member of both the National Insurance Brokers Association (NIBA) and the Steadfast Group Limited.
The Steadfast Group Limited, is an unlisted public company, generating in excess of $3 billion in annual premium turnover. It comprises of more than 250 licensed brokers with more than 350 offices operating right across Australia.
In spite of our growth, we have not lost focus of our original service philosophy with many of our initial clients still today forming part of our growing family of clientele.
Our Directors and senior staff have more than 200 years of insurance experience between them ranging from dealing with various industry groups, working with Australia’s largest insurers, transacting with Lloyd’s of London, the reinsurance market and being involved with Australia’s premier insurance buying group.
